It was a slow night in the lab and we're playing cards waiting for Dr. Kling's pizza to cook in the specimen bottle sterilization oven. Resourceful, weren't we? Seated far left is Everett Hyman.  Next is  CPT Blye,  night supervisor on Pre-Op/Recovery Ward, next Quonset over from X-ray and Lab. With his back to the camera is Rick Rounds,  Ken Bowen (on right) and Dr. George Kling, leaning on lab bench. I've got another picture, similar but with Dr. Veatch in the middle of the Lab playing the foot powered field organ we used to "borrow" from the Chapel. For several Friday & Saturday nights, the organ traveled around the compound, often ending up outside the nurses quarters for a sing along. Unfortunately, one night we were so incapacitated that we forgot to return it. At about 7:00 Sunday morning the Chaplain's Assistant came to our tent, woke Sgt. Towe and me and we had to go find the organ. The next week the Chaplain had it bolted to the cement floor of the Chapel.  (Source:  Ken Bowen)
