Summary - August 1966

August was a time for construction.

Sometime in August

LTC John R. Connelly (deceased) assumes command from LTC Donohoo, who was reassigned to one of the other hospitals in the area.  This was done so all hospital personnel did not rotate out of country at the same time. (Source: Lest We Forget Part II; Barnett and Foss)

August - Exact Date Unknown

The original 24th Evac was a tent city.  At first, the hospital was right on the perimeter of Long Binh Post.  By the time this picture was taken, there has been enough time to put in rock walk ways and other "niceties."
